Host a Monthly Meet Up in your area.
Thank you for your interest in our S.A.L.T. Monthly Meet Ups! We’re actively looking for Local Leaders to coordinate, market and host these monthly events.
Your primary responsibility is to organize, promote and host each month’s event, and to lead the discussion. It’s a fantastic way to build your local realtor network and S.A.L.T. community.
Each location discusses the same topic each month. If you’d like to cover a different topic or bring in a guest speaker, you may do so with S.A.L.T. leadership permission.

Guidelines & expectations
Time & day
Choose the best time and day for your location. Most groups meet for breakfast or lunch on the first Thursday of each month, but you can create a schedule that works for you. For consistency (it helps attendance), please keep the same schedule month to month as much as possible.
Location
Identify and secure a location for your Meet Up. We recommend a neutral spot, like a local restaurant, rather than a brokerage office or personal home. Depending on group size you may need a reservation, and many leaders use an Evite to track RSVPs. Keeping the same location each month cuts down on confusion, but it’s your call.
Promotion
Promote the Meet Up within our S.A.L.T. group and to your local agent community — the more the merrier! Clearly mention that it’s a S.A.L.T. Meet Up and point people to our website for other locations. Our state-specific groups are also a great place to share your event.
Hosting the event
- Get the conversation going. A topic, agenda and discussion questions are provided each month.
- Take photos and be sure to tag and reference S.A.L.T. on social media.
- Share a photo in the S.A.L.T. group each month with a few words about how it went and the topic discussed. It helps build interest for future events.
What S.A.L.T. will do
- List your contact information and meet-up area (city/state or county/state) on this page.
- Provide a S.A.L.T. Monthly Meet Up graphic template for promotion, or you’re welcome to create your own.
- Keep the commitment month to month. We’ll assume you’re hosting unless you tell us otherwise.
- Help promote your event in your local S.A.L.T. group.
